Trying to "Touch" some Visitors

Thought you might be interested in how we are using some of the iPOD Touches that we are giving out this year to incoming students. We designated a number of the Touches to be used by faculty and held back 25 for classroom or experimental opportunities. Next week we have 25 High School Guidance Counselors coming to campus for what they call the Oregon Explorers Tour. They come to us from all around the region and plan on spending an evening and morning at our campus. We decided to use this visit as an opportunity to try out the iPhone Conferencing Application, MobilAP, that we got from University of Cincinnati's DAAP. We will give each attendee a Touch to use while here loaded with lots of photos and videos promoting our university and we will use the MobilAP to help manage the visit. I’m not sure how this will all play out, but I am impressed with what our folks have put together on the Touch and we have learned a lot about the effort to setup/ghost 25 Touches.
